According to News18, Vijay received a grand welcome as soon as he arrived at Madurai airport. He greeted fans by waving at them and even briefly stood through his car’s sunroof to acknowledge the crowd. Unlike his usual white shirt and pants, he wore a traditional silk veshti and shirt, which drew attention. Due to the massive turnout, his vehicle was slightly delayed exiting the airport; police stepped in to manage the crowd and ensure his safe passage.

From Madurai, Vijay travelled by road to Tiruchendur and reached the temple early in the morning. He took part in the special Viswaroopa darshan and offered prayers. Temple authorities welcomed him and presented him with a sacred ‘Vel’ as a mark of respect. Even inside the temple, many people came to see him. Many devotees were impressed by how calm and simple he looked during the visit. After completing the darshan, he left the temple and planned to return to Chennai via Madurai.
