The Queen of Pop is back, and this time she’s hitting the dance floor as she feels “so free”!Just days after confirming the sequel to her ‘Confessions on a Dance Floor’ album, Madonna has unveiled the first track, ‘I Feel So Free.’ The song features disco beats with the 67-year-old dancing euphorically.
‘I Feel So Free’ was released on iHeartRadio’s Pride Radio on Friday, April 17 at 10 am ET. The dance track takes back to the beat of Lil Louis’ 1989 house classic ‘French Kiss.’
Madonna announced the upcoming album earlier this week
Just this week, Madonna officially confirmed that Confessions II was dropping on July 3.The star has been teasing the plan since 2023. On Tuesday, she cleared her Instagram and changed her biography to one of Hung Up’s lyrics: “Time goes by so slowly.”‘A Confessions II’ countdown on Spotify reveals the album has 16 tracks. The original ‘Confessions on a Dance Floor’ album was available in standard album format (with discrete tracks) as well as a “non-stop mix” that kept the music going without pause. Madonna’s website lists a 12-track vinyl LP with the “non-stop mix” as well as a 16-track, 2-vinyl LP set with a “continuous album mix.“‘Confessions II’ reunites Madonna with that album’s producer, Stuart Price, who also served as the music producer on her massive 2023-2024 The Celebration Tour. Since then, they have both been dropping social media teasers about new music together. Meanwhile, Madonna is also going strong as an actress. According to the BBC, she will appear in the second series of Emmy-winning TV show ‘The Studio,’ which satirises the film industry.
