What Selena Gomez shared after the show

Gomez wrote alongside a black-and-white image of Lovato, 33, having lipstick applied on stage, “I am in tears. @ddlovato, this was hands down one of the best shows. Oh, and the VOCALS? Psh, blown away.”The following slides featured a photo of the pair hugging backstage, captioned with a red heart, a photo of Lovato’s name projected in the arena, and a video of Gomez dancing in the crowd. Gomez was not the only former Disney star at the opening night. Demi Lovato’s ‘Camp Rock’ costar Joe Jonas also made a guest appearance and performed on stage with her.

Lovato previously spoke about her excitement about returning to touring. During an event to support her cookbook, ‘One Plate at a Time: Recipes for Finding Freedom with Food’, she reflected on the significance of her 2025 album ‘It’s Not That Deep’.Speaking to influencer Eli Rallo at 92NY in New York City on March 17, Lovato said, “It’s really amazing to be in this era right now. It’s very celebratory, very fun. I mean, that was really what the essence of the album was, was a reflection of where I’m at in my life today, which is I’m happier than ever, and I wanted my music to reflect that.”She added, “I’m very, very, very excited and a little overwhelmed, a little nervous, but I’m very excited, and I can’t wait to see everybody on the road.
